ONE MONTH!!

So...big news today! I got my award letter from financial aid. It turns out that I am able to receive two loans, one for $1,000 which covers my Mayterm class, and another for $2,750. Both of these will be applied to Mayterm since that's the only class I'm enrolled in this summer. Since the total amount of the two loans is more than I will need, I will be getting a refund check for about $2,850. Refund checks will be available [at the earliest] on Friday! The outstanding balance for my trip is $2,912, so my refund check will cover almost all of it! What an answer to prayer! God never ceases to amaze me!!! We sang a song at church tonight, and it just sums it all up. 

"GOD is BIGGER than the air I breathe, the world we'll leave. GOD will save the day, and all will say, 'My Glorious, My Glorious!!'"

So all in all, my God is bigger than any obstacle thrown in my path. 

aaaaaaaand...Spain is BACK ON!!

Thirty-six

So here I am, 36 days until departure, and things are not going as planned. I recently found out that I will not be able to get the grant that I was supposed to be getting to pay for over half of my trip. I will not be technically enrolled in classes during this period, we would just go and take the classes, bring back the transcript and then our credits would be figured. In order to receive the grant, I would have to be enrolled in classes at a college or university. So now we need about $3,000 and I have no idea how that's going to happen. All I know is that if God wants me in Spain this summer, He will provide away. If not, then He has better plans for me at home this summer. All I can do is trust in Him and His plan. Like He tells us in Romans 8:28- "And we know that in all things, God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose."
